Well my installation CD's arent the latest version, so just before I mess anything up, how do I patch the game? As if it were running on windows? Thanks

you should be able to
just start the game and you will start pulling the patches down
just like you do in windows.

Installation of both WoW and TBC went fine. My problem is downlaoding the patches: The downloader comes up as normal but then times out, with the "tracker not responding" and "you appear to be behind a firewall" messages. I know I'm not behind a firewall.

Anyone have any advice on how to get the downloader to work? I'm so close now, just this last bloody thing needs sorting! Grr! ;)
