Game starts and I get the first "copyright" and other legal stuff, but after the screen just goes black and stays like that.
Using Steam version, but disabling all community stuff, but still broken.

Worms Revolution requires the DirectShow Runtime Library, specifically the quartz.dll
file. It also requires other DLLs from DirectShow and Windows Media Player to play the
movie files in-game.
I have uploaded a CrossTie that will install these for you. It should be available
shortly.
