HeartCode™ PALS Part 1 offers healthcare providers a CD-based, self-directed learning option that delivers training needed to recognize and prevent cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children.
The full course combines the interactive, CD-based cognitive portion featuring eSimulation, with PALS skills training. Part 1 includes interactive patient cases that test the user’s ability to apply the PALS algorithms to effect treatment. During the hands-on portion of the course (Parts 2 and 3), users have the opportunity to practice their skills, then complete a skills test with an AHA PALS Instructor.
