MixW is one of the most widely used digital communication software in Amateur Radio.
I have been testing it on Crossover, and it works remarkably well, being fully usable except for a few quirks. I am impressed.
This application uses the sound card, connected to the radio audio ports both in and out to transceive in the HAM Radio digital modes. It also uses a serial port for controlling the Radio itself.
The Amateur Radio community often complains that most of the software we use is only available on Windows, preventing many to effectively use Linux for our hobby. This is not true anymore thanks to Wine and Crossover.
