PlanetSide is a Massively Multiplayer Online First-Person Shooter involving thousands of players fulfilling all the roles needed to wage war across the face of ten gigantic continents. The war involves infantry, ground vehicles, and air battles in a science-fiction setting. Gamers play as any of the three global empires, each group struggling against one another to dominate each base, continent, and ultimately, the planet, for their Empire.
