[TIP] Performance drops to unplayable levels & crashing when loading a new game.
This title was tested on Crossover 13.1.3
The issue: Performance suddenly drops to unplayable levels.
The fix:
1. Try disabling performance enhanced graphics via Crossover and see how that goes. Performance Enhanced Graphics: Crossover -> manage bottles -> Steam/ACM bottle -> advanced.
2. Or just lower some graphic details and close any unnecessary background processes. This game can be very sensitive to other apps running in the background. Systems affected by this issue should lower their graphic detail-sliders to 50 percent or less. Just play around with the settings. On Windows there is a bug that causes the game to stutter or crash entirely when graphic details are above 50%, especially on Windows 8 + AMD hard- and software combinations. There should be a few posts about this in the Steam ACM forum. Gearbox & Mr. Pitchford left us a long time ago... they left us! But that's not... what I am gonna do.
