Dragon NaturallySpeaking 8 Tips

No Tip Title!

When running for the first time, DNS (Dragon NaturallySpeaking) will complain about the absense of two files in the Windows\\System directory:

  • comdlg32.dll
  • user32.dll

The following commands, when run from a terminal will create files of zero size in the Windows\\System directory on your system--typically ~/.cxoffice/dotwine/fake_windows/Windows/System as used in this example--to appease DNS:

cd ~/.cxoffice/dotwine/fake_windows/Windows/System
touch comdlg32.dll user32.dll
