If this happens to you, open the file:

C:\GOG Games\Leisure Suit Larry 7 - Love for Sail!\RESOURCE.WIN

and change the value of useDirectSound from false to true 

You can get there by opening the CrossOver Bottle Manager, selecting the bottle where the game was installed and clicking on the Open C: Drive button.
