MetaTrader 4 Tips

How to add Expert Advisors and other extras

(I used http://www.earnforex.com/blog/2007/07/metatrader-expert-advisros-users/ as an example of MT4 Windows instructions translated for Crossover's environment.)
  1. Open Crossover
  2. Click the Bottles button in the top-left of the main Crossover window
  3. Select your Metatrader 4 bottle
  4. Click the gear button at the bottom-left of the window
  5. Open C: drive
  6. Go into drive_c/Program Files/Metatrader 4
  7. Copy your Expert Advisor or other files into their correct directory(s).
If your Windows install instructions say you need to compile the extras to work use Crossover Run Command http://www.codeweavers.com/support/wiki/mac/mactutorial/run_only and you can launch whichever MT4 .exe you need.
