If you have a bottle running Office 2007 and attempt to update it to a Volume Licensed Office 2010 Pro +SP1 version (known to fail on DVD SW_DVD5_Office_Professional_Plus_2010w_SP1_W32_English_CORE_MLF_X17-76748.ISO with md5sum: 98e49bb1b1a74bc82ce77466aa321341), the upgrade will report that it is successful, but many applications will fail to render data. Word, for example, won't open existing files, but will allow creation of new files and saving files. Outlook won't be able to display the inbox.
You must install this Office 2010 DVD into a new bottle, and it will work perfectly.
