If you see something like this in an email[Error : unloaded OLE object or mail attachment] right-click on the unopened email and select "View Attachments" there you can get your attachments. This trick does not always work with images (cut-n-paste or drag-n-drop). This error seems to only occur when the sender used "drag-n-drop" to add the attachment.
If you're unable to add an attachment to an email try changing the format of the email from RTF to HTML.
