The update process fails. I have reported this to the author of the program before. If I run Ocean under cxoffice as a regular user, the ICMP calls are
disallowed (it appears Ocean uses an ICMP ping to determine whether the server is available). When I run Ocean as the superuser, I get an error that suggests that I may be behind a firewall, which I am not. At least, I can run chat, e-mail, streaming video, voice conferencing, web browsing, FTP and other programs with no problems.
