Here is a short description to improve gaming experience of Return to castle Wolfenstein (RTCW) on modern computers (Mac Book Air 2017). Here I used the DVD version. Steam version is already upgraded.
First install wolf_update_1_4.exe into the RTCW bottle.
Then install wolf_update_1_41.exe into the RTCW bottle.
Download rtcw-sp-1.42d-win32-bin.zip from http://www.markshan.com/knight... - this is an unofficial patch for RTCW which include widescreen support.
Right click on RTCW bottle and click "Open drive c"
Go to Program Files\Return to Castle Wolfenstein\ and copy the content of the zip into this folder. You might want to copy the to be replaced files to a Backup folder first.
