In order to play Steam movies that you have downloaded, go to the directory where your steam files are saved, and play them from there using the player of your choice.
The directory is /Users/<your user name>/Library/Application Support/CrossOver Games/Bottles/winxp/drive_c/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/media
A player like VLC should be able to display the movies.
