How to manually install

Create a new WinXP bottle in Crossover Games and in that bottle install Microsoft DirectX – Modern, Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable, and .NET 3.0.

Then you need to set the registry keys. http://www.codeweavers.com/support/wiki/mac/faq/cxgamesmac_enableglsl has the process for adding/editing registry keys. You’ll need to set the following on the bottle:

Fix black screen on launch:
Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\Direct3D
Name (string): OffscreenRenderingMode
Data: fbo

Reduce mouselook stuttering on Mac OS:
Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\DirectInput
Name (string): MouseWarpOverride
Data: force_edge

Reduce mouselook stuttering on Linux OS:
Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\DirectInput
Name (string): MouseWarpOverride
Data: disable

And then finally install Steam into the bottle. Log into Steam and download Skyrim.
