Twelve Sky does not support any screen formats other than 1024x768 full-screen. CXG (and WINE) can work around this by running it under a virtual desktop (although, it will be resized to 1024x768)
Be warned - if you close out CXG while using the virtual desktop without quitting the game first, your character data can be corrupted, requiring GM intervention or the recreating of your character.
Since the release of the new Launcher, there is no requirement in setting the "Virtual desktop" anymore. It is actually advised to set a windowed mode from within the Launcher that is desired; NOTE: Due to inconsistencies of the Launcher, it is required that you set the screen resolution and exit the Launcher before the resolutions settings take effect (Please see post about closing the Launcher).
We're rebels. We're misfits. But mostly, we're software liberators. And we're very, very good at what we do. We have to be. Lots of developers work with open source, but only a tiny fraction of those are good enough to get software that was designed for one platform to work on another one. We invented CrossOver software - a unique approach to cross-platform compatibility that does not require dual-boot or another OS license. We launched PortJump to help app and game developers broaden their market beyond Windows® users. And we launched ExecMode to help organizations solve really ugly technical challenges.
