Short for Windows Ninja, Winja is a redesigned version of Phrozensoft's classic Virustotal Uploader. It is a lightweight tool for uploading files to VirusTotal to have them scanned for malware by multiple antivirus engines. It is especially well suited for batch scanning large numbers of files on VirusTotal. The program comes with a few additional tools which include a startup manager, task manager and service manager. The tools enable the user to analyze selected processes, startup programs, etc., for malicious content. Winja offers an easy-to-use alternative to the web-based interface of the VirusTotal scanning service.
