Installs and runs somewhat well

Used ODT to download latest version of Visio 2016.
Installed into new bottle, selected Office 2016 since Visio was not in the list.
Installed fine, activated fine.

I was able to open, navigate, and edit, a rather large, complex, multi-tab Visio documents with no problem.

Issues:
The 'Shape Styles' pane seems to never load, just has spinning circles constantly.
I'm unable to use the scroll bars, it seems to scroll off the canvas, only way to get back is to click the button to fit canvas to screen.
Fonts are different, so my saved documents look different. (not really an issue with Crossover)

Yes there are a few issues, however I'm surprised with how well it runs considering everyone online says it won't even launch.

I was able to make it (Visio install from Office 365) work after canceling long installation by overriding concrt140 in bottle's wine configuration -> libraries.

The scrolling issue is there, pretty annoying, the way to recover is to use view-> fit to window. One can also scroll with ctrl-arrows.

Thanks for the tip! I've been trying to get Microsoft Visio 2016 to run in CrossOver for quite a while.
Unfortunately, I can't sign in to my office account and don't want to waste a retail key on a CrossOver VM, since I still prefer the performance of VMware Fusion or Parallels Desktop.
I was able to enable the scroll bars by first minimizing the application window using the icon in the top right corner and then maximizing the window again. The scroll bars then became visible, but they're not precise at all and I found myself ignoring them when working with large diagrams.

Still, it's good to know progress is being made.

Cheers

Trying to run it on the Mac. Couldn't get the C2R installer to work at all. Pity b/c it's the one windows app I need in order to be windows free.

I was hoping that CrossOver 18.1.0 for Mac would be compatible with Microsoft Visio 2016, but although I was able to install the application via the C2R method, the program would not start, or crashed shortly after opening with an error message. Since we already have a Mac version of Office 365 available, I also agree that running Visio in CrossOver would allow us to migrate away from Windows for good. Visio 2010 runs quite well, but doesn't support the most recent file version (.vsdx) and even Visio 2013 is now outdated. Why can't Microsoft provide a new release of Visio (or Project) for Mac?
