Trying to run Microsoft Teams

I've attempted to run under Win 7 32 bit, Win 10 64 bit, and Win 7 64 bit. Install requires .NET Framework 4.5 and didn't seem to install properly during the initial installation phase, so I manually added it to the bottle then tried installing Teams. I was able to run the Teams 64 bit installer without error under a Win 7 64 bit bottle after installing .NET 4.5.2, but the program didn't seem to actually install. The installation of Teams goes under the AppData/Local folder for the user that is logged in normally on Windows. I took a copy of the install folder from a Windows machine to attempt to run it, but it wouldn't load. I created a log during this and there were many libs indicated as missing, but I don't know where I would find them to get them loaded.

Hoping that if I could get these resolved, maybe it could get further.

Hi Christopher,

This list should help you install the missing 32-bit libraries: https://www.codeweavers.com/support/wiki/diag

Thanks,
Anna

I actually created a Windows 8 bottle as that one supports Framework 4.5 and all previous versions of Framework that Crossover recommends. Once I attempt to install the Teams on the same bottle, it stops telling me to run the program as a normal user. how can I stop the bottle from automatically running programs as an admin.

This is an old thread, but the problem is still there.
Running the installer without admin privileges is not possible. There's a Wine bug tracking the issue here: https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=40613
