Calendar Creator 12 - how to run again

I am unable to run Calendar Creator 12 anymore, even with Crossover 18. It exits with error message, something like Unexpected File Format.
A couple of versions ago of Crossover (v16?), I could run it, but Codeweavers took that ability away. Is there a tip to make it work again?
