Anyone have a workaround for installing with ADE installer 4.5.7 showing blocked at Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 is already running" error? Downgrading to previous version is not an option as I'd like to run patched software.
Ubuntu 17.10 tried in Win7 and WinXP bottles with no luck on Crossover 17.0.0.

I managed to get the current version von ADE running fine.
Working on debian strech & Crossover 18.5
Extract all files from within the .exe file and copy them over to the bottle. Then start (or create a shortcut to) the extracted .exe file.
Works like a charm:
-download ebooks from the adobe cloud
-authorize this computer
-open DRM protected pdf-files and epub-files
Problems?
Yes, one: navigating the menu structure sometimes it is not 'drawn' correct. But I can easily with that.
