Not working on M1 Mac

Hello community,

I've tried to make this work on a MacBook Air with M1 chip without any luck, I get the following error:

"
Your video hardware does not support DirectX 11 which is required for Age of Empires III DE.

Age of Empires III DE requires at least a 1 GB video card. this computer appears to have a 0 MB video card.
"
It also has the "Attempt to run" button disabled (because it detects there's no video memory)

I understand that architecture and so is different and that might be causing the issue, I just wanna know if there could be a workaround to it. I tried installing DirectX from the available apps list and even it installs correctly I still get the error while running the game.

Hi there,

You'll need to enable DXVK in your bottle. To do that, right click your bottle name, go to settings, and toggle on "DXVK Backend for D3D11."

Best,
Meredith

I had the same problem. I enabled DXVK backend in settings but the error message is still showing. Any clue?
