Announcing CrossOver 10.0 and CrossOver Games 10.0, The Impersonator

Hi Folks,

I am happy to announce that we have shipped CrossOver 10.0 and CrossOver Games 10.0, codename 'The Impersonator', for both Mac and Linux.

The primary new feature of these releases is our new 'CrossTie' technology. CrossTie builds on and expands on our compatibility profiles so that not only is CrossOver constantly updated with the latest and greatest recipes, those recipes can now be launched with a single click. It is now easier than ever to install thousands of different applications on your Mac or Linux system using the most up-to-date recipe.

Additionally, this version incorporates the nearly 4,500 patches that went into making Wine 1.3.9 over the past year, bringing a wide range of improvements to many applications. We have particularly focused on Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, and the Steam games platform.

One important note: CrossOver Mac and CrossOver Games Mac no longer run on OS X 10.4 Tiger. You will need to upgrade to 10.5 or later in order to use The Impersonator.

If you are an existing CrossOver customer with an active support entitlement, you can visit our web site to download this latest version:
You will need to log in with the email and password that you used when purchasing CrossOver. Please write to if you need help with this process.

Thanks again for all your support, and I hope that you enjoy The Impersonator!
