The game installs fine and the update is successful but when I log in all i see are big colored flashing boxes on my screen but I hear the sound in the background of the introduction

The game installs fine and the update is successful but when I log in all i see are big colored flashing boxes on my screen but I hear the sound in the background of the introduction
I have tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the game but to no avail
here is a screenshot of what one of the many flashing boxes look like. this happens right after i press the play button.
