I've looked all over but am unable to find what exactly is meant by "virtual desktop" and how to enable. it. I've read that it can help with game compatibility. I'm running the newest version in Mac OSX.

Hi,
On the Mac...Crossover(Games) menu -> Configure -> Manage Bottles -> Control Panel
Highlight the bottle in question in the left pane, then launch the Wine Configuration
tool -> click on the Graphics tab :: you will see where you can enable the emulate a
virtual desktop setting (and optionally define a size for the desktop window) - click
Apply -> Ok when finished.
