Whenever i try to open up steam with crossover games it either starts up, doesn't show anything, then shuts down or it open up and only shows my steam messages, no menu then the messages disappear. It started doing this once i got the steam update. Help!

Of which Steam update do you speak? I only ask because I haven't
used my steam client/account for the last 3 or 4 days, and just checking
now it still says it "up to date"...

I would recommend that you go into your bottle's C: drive, in Program Files/Steam, and delete ClientRegistry.blob.

there are 2 blog files there, delete both. had the same problem. the deletes fixed it
