Obtaining Source Games Benchmarks

I like to run benchmarks under Wine/CXGames on Source engine to see how things are improving over time, but when I went to run my last timedemo under L4D2 it no longer provides an average FPS at the end of the demo. Does anyone else know how to get an FPS average on L4D2/TF2 under Linux?

~Jeff

You'll probably want to have a look at the timedemo / timedemoquit and related Source Engine console commands.

Might just be a bug in L4D2 and TF2. Also, I understand that the format of timedemo files changes from time to time with new releases of the games, so see if it reports FPS after running a newly-recorded timedemo.
