Hi, I am currenly using crossover games 8.0. Later this week I am going to format my HDD and install the new release of Ubuntu and such. Anyways, is there an easy way to back up the bottle and all the programs and such in it, so I can easily just restore the backup on my new clean install? Will the "recreate menu" option rebuild my windows games items when I restore a backup?
You can archive your bottles. I archive all of the games I have working and stored on my backup server. If I'm advocating a particular app or game, I can just "load" that bottle up to check something quickly.
So it sounds like your process is archive the bottles, reinstall your OS and then add the bottles back.
