CrossOver Support - Community Forums

Hi there,

I'm currently using CrossOver Games trial in order to run Guild Wars on my Macbook (Leopard / 10.5.2). I installed COG, then downloaded the GW installer, and ran COG (using the CrossOver Games software installer). But here's my problem : when the program attempts to create the GW bottle (using a win2OOO bottle, others are apparently not compatible... weird), an error occurs : URLError(error(60, 'Operation timed out'),). Ok, what do I do now ?

Here's my configuration :

Macbook
2.2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
1.6 Go DDR2 SDRAM
GC : GMA X3100 144 Mo

Hope anybody can help.

My guess is that you have a firewall that's preventing the Guild Wars client from reaching the servers. Try disabling your firewall to see if that helps.

I just realized that I didn't post in the right section, really sorry for that.

My firewall is disabled, but the problem still occurs.

I tried using different bottles, and letting the program downlading the installation client by itself, but it still doesn't work.

Any other guess ?
