I live in the USA and i noticed something. When I play left 4 dead 2, it looks like the australian censored version. examples would be like how there is no detached limbs and when you shoot the zombies they dissapear. I don't know if its crosssover games or valve so can someone help me? thanks.

Valve. Crossover Games doesn't mess with the content itself.

I contacted valve and someone on the steam fourms said that i had the unedited copy. Are you sure that codeweavers didnt censor out some stuff to make it more playable?

You probably have "-lv" (low violence) in your launch options. Crossover might have put it in there, since in past it helped to avoid some random crashes for some people. Should not be needed any more if you have cxgames 8.1.4, so go to steam --> properties --> launch options, and remove "-lv" if it is in there.

Yeah, it was the -lv thing. I found that out yesterday and fixed it. Left 4 Dead 2 looks awesome now, everything is so cool. Thanks.

Yes, in the early days of L4D2 support with put -lv into the launch options because it avoided some crashes which turned out to be DRM related. Those have been fixed properly now, so you can remove the -lv. cxgames 8.1.4 shouldn d't add -lv, but due to the way the launch options work we cannot automatically remove it.
