after a break away from games, and more so braid [jesus that is a great game], i am back to playing some games this weekend. but have come into a snag recently with Far Cry [the first one].
basically i get past the first level, where you have to get the little yellow dingy [boat to most people :)]. and after i get past that and get to the loading screen for the next part, it stays on the loading screen. it loads all the way up, but does not go off of that screen.
has anyone else had this problem at all.
machine i am using is unibody macbook pro 5.1, osx 6.1, 2.53ghz core duo, 4gb ram. COG version 8
aye, my copy is 1.4.0.0 according to the main menu screen on far cry.
very strange. i am going to mess with some settings and the such and see if anything happens...
