I just installed Crossover on my Macbook Pro running NVIDIA Geforce 9600M GT and installed Steam and Left4Dead with no problems. But when I go to run L4D, the cinematic at the beginning play perfectly and it loads, but when it gets to the main menu screen, none of the options come up to do anythiing, it's just the animated background. I've searched high and low and can't seem to find a solution.

I don't have Left4Dead, but have you tried the tips located here:

You may get more help if you post in the Left4Dead forum since people there are already running it, etc. in all likelihood.
