So, I tried installing a game called Dragonica the other week.
I'm fairly certain I'm not doing something right rather than it just not being compatible.
This is because the game's installation process works fine and the game was successfully added to the C: drive folders.
Also, it was capable of actually starting up and downloading some client side material but once I hit the "start" button I would get this error message: "Cannot open oreans.vxd driver. Make sure that oreans.vxd is not open by another program".
Any suggestions?

Also, out of curiosity.
I was looking at the different graphics cards you can choose from when customizing a Mac.
One of which is the exact same graphics card my boyfriend recently bought.
He built it into a PC and it looks amazing and works just as well.
So, does that mean if I were to buy a customized Mac with that graphics card I'd be able to play any game with graphics set to/near the maximum settings? Or is it still a matter of the way the game is written and the actual computer being able to run that?...

Regarding the oreans.vxd error, this is probably GameGuard getting it wrong.

Regarding video cards and the Mac -- as I use linux, it's better a Mac person speaks to
'what videocard is best for my Mac' ....however, regarding getting the best performance
from any computer/videocard setup, requires compliant (bug free) OS videocard drivers,
compliant OS video display drivers and libraries (X, opengl etc), and to some greater or
lesser degree how the game itself is coded...ie; which version/parts of directx it utilizes
and stuff like that...(and obviously the capabilities of the computer/videocard themselves).
