I'm running Ubuntu 9.04, 64bit and I have a quite quirky little issue with my microphone. The problem is that it only works under my Steam games in CXGames when I have my "Volume Control" panel open. I'm not sure what changes by having it open (and its not a big deal to open it before I jump into a game) I was just wondering if someone might be able to shed some light on why perhaps this happens?
