Am French and my English is not reaaly good, but i'll try to explain me. For the moment, I have the Trial version of CrossOverGames. Am a new Mac switcher and I want to test the best software to play Counter Strike Source. CrossOver is the best but i have some problems :
Not stable, i have some crash when I play :(
I have no access to the Steam friends Online. When you play you can't discuss with mate by steam.
Is-it possible to let an icon on the desktop to create a direct link to Counter ?

The in-game overlay is a known issue. We're working on it(since quite a while already - it's very tricky). You should be able to access the Steam chat in Steam itself, but not while running the game. An ugly workaround is to play in a window and have the steam chat in a separate window

It should be - there's a create desktop icon button somewhere on the
properties page of the game in Steam. (Right-click on CS:S on Steam)
I don't think this will work. On the Mac, CrossOver ignores attempts by Windows programs to create desktop icons. If you told Steam to create a Start Menu shortcut when installing a game, then that shortcut gets translated to an entry in the Programs menu and also an icon in your Programs folder (your home/Applications/CrossOver Games, by default; Programs > Reveal in Finder will show it). You may copy that icon to your Desktop, if you like. (If you move it instead of copying it, then CS:S will no longer appear in the Programs menu.)
Please Note: This Forum is for non-application specific questions relating to installation/configuration of CrossOver. All application-specific posts to this Forum will be moved to their appropriate Compatibility Center Forum.
