I was wondering how many computers can you have crossover games registered on? for example can i share my copy on my sisters computer and my fathers?
We have no technical limitations, we call our DRM system "trust your customer".
We ask you to buy a license for each user that can be expected to use CrossOver at the same time. Ie, if you, your sister and your father share one computer, and all 3 of you use CrossOver, one license is ok. If you are working on your, your sister's and your father's computer, but only you are using CrossOver, one license is fine. If there are three computers, and three users using CrossOver independently, we kindly ask you to obtain 3 licenses.
We have no hardware profiling or related stuff in the registration code since we believe that trying to enforce the above with technical means hurts legitimate customers more than it helps us.
