Why is it not supported? Literally thousands of people can write dll's ... that's
how games/software come into being. Instead of leaping to surmise you need a special
dll written ...how about telling us something about what's going wrong/not working?
I open it from steam, the "preparing to launch" window comes up, but disappears shortly after, and nothing happens. Indicitive of unimplemented dll's.
Not necessarily .... could easily be indicative of missing and/or
inappropriate dll's (ie; the difference between native & builtin).
Either way, you'll need to throw some debug at it to find out for
sure what's going wrong...
lol, i know less than you think I do, sloooow down. How do i debug?

Well...that'll depend a lot on whether or not you're running Mac/OSX
or linux...and sometimes in the Mac situation, exactly what hardware
you actually have....you're trying to run this via Steam, yes?
If so, there's load of clues there -- see;
http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/name/?app_id=206;forum=1
That might also be a more appropriate forum to ask specific questions about
a particular Steam title as well, 'coz that's where the Steam chatter lives ;)
And of course, never forget that the official support mechanism is the support
ticket system...which I guess, if you create a ticket for this here, one of our
intrepid codeweavers warriors will tell you exactly what you might need to do..
