I want to see if the "A Vampyre Story" demo is working in CrossOver Games before I purchase the full game but have been unable to install the demo thus far.
The installer appears to be working until it reaches the file movies/bink/Demo.bik.
I managed to install the game on my PC (but it won't run) and I believe that that file gets extracted just before DirectX gets updated.
I tried installing DirectX (from the "A Vampire Story" zip file) in an empty bottle first and then installing the game in the same bottle, but it doesn't seem to help (the installer stops working in the same spot).
Any idea?

Thank you! I did not realize that (I have been so obsessed with getting my PC games to work in CrossOver Games lately that I did not even think of looking it up!).
Downloading the demo right now.
