trial version 7.2, TF2, and the GMA X3100 problem

I am running the 7.2 trail version. TF2 will run fine for a few minutes, then freeze and crash. I read that this is a common problem and that there is a 'memory leak' problem tied to the X3100 chipset. But other than some very vague references to the problem and that MAYBE downgrading to 7.0 could solve it, I can not find any real information or solution.

What exactly, if it is known, is the problem?

Since I am running the trial version, is there a way (link) to install the 7.0 trial version to see if that fixes the problem?

Your product works great, and i'm very close to buying it. TF2 runs absolutely fine up until it crashes. But I need to know if this work-around will fix the problem before I decide to buy. If this isn't possible, is there a mailing list i can sign up for that can let me know when the problem is fixed and I can come back and reevaluate your program?

Thanks for your help!

We're still working on what the underlying issue is. It doesn't work any better in Games 7.0, but one thing we've found is decrease the graphics settings of TF2. In particular make sure bloom is disabled and that should give you more time before the memory leak kicks in.
