I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I'm trying to run WoW via Crossover thru a ssh tunnel. I am able to get it running using Windows program FreeCap but it does have some issues with not launching all the time. Is there any linux native way to transparently proxy programs run using wine? I've tried tsocks and proxychains with no success.
Maybe something like squid? tldp.org/HOWTO/TransparentProxy.html
Squid is for web browsers -> web server
What I need is something that can wrap around a program that does not have proxy support, "aka proxifier" and redirect it's traffic to a VPN tunnel. What makes it more difficult is addition of the wine wrapper layer.
