I have a copy of crysis for PC by EA games, and ive tried running it on crossover games and it will just freeze in the installation,
will this even install with crossover games, or do i have to install vista on my computer?

I recommend you to download the CrossOver Games demo and give it a try. It is likely that the game installs, but depending on your graphics card the driver may not like it. We have some reports that Crysis rudimentarily runs on Linux systems with Nvidia cards, but even there it is not great.
