CrossOver 19.x supports 64-bit Windows apps, right? (support said no)

I know CrossOver allows the creation of 64-bit Windows bottles, but I was told by CodeWeavers support that "Crossover for Linux is i386, so installing 64-bit applications into it typically does not work." This makes no sense. I emailed for a follow-up, no response after six days. Thanks.

Support later said via email:

"It is not limited to only 32-bit processes. The fact that it is 64-bit is just one of the reasons that it might not work. 32-bit wine has been "in progress" for many more years than 64-bit wine in the grand scheme of things, so random 32-bit programs are more likely to work than random 64-bit programs. This does not mean that 64-bit programs do not work across the board with CrossOver."

Please Note: This Forum is for non-application specific questions relating to installation/configuration of CrossOver. All application-specific posts to this Forum will be moved to their appropriate Compatibility Center Forum.
