Part of the filename or a folder?

Hi guys,

I installed EZNEC v.7 the other day, but it throws an error message when I run it.

Calculating engine EZCalcD_70_x64.EXE is missing.
It should be in directory C:\Program Files (x86)\EZNEC 7.0\x64. Cannot proceed.

I navigated to the folder shown in the error message. First, the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\EZNEC 7.0\x64 does not exist. Also, the file named in the error message EZCalcD_70_x64.EXE does not exist. You have shown one of them incorrectly. x64 should either be part of the filename, or it should be a folder, which does not exist.

Which is it please?

Thanks,
Ken

I suggest you try to install it again and pay attention very carefully for error messages during the instalation. It looks like installation did not complete properly, or did not work on CrossOver.

Is there an error log file of any kind in the folders?

Good luck!

OK, it worked this time. No error messages and no log file found. I don't know why it worked when it didn't last time, but I notice that I have to install things twice in order to get them to install correctly.

Thanks for your help!

Ken
