What is the current target with regards to RHEL compatibility? When I try to run the latest installer on a system with RHEL 8, I get:
/tmp/installer.eiH3AHPG6P: /lib64/libm.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.29' not found (required by /tmp/installer.eiH3AHPG6P)
Is this intentional? What is the last version of Crossover that supports RHEL8?
PS: I don't have root access, so I cannot use the RPM.
Good morning Julius.
FYI, I just got the same message on a plain/out-of-the-box Debian Stretch 9.13.0 32-bit version.
Steps taken were only those described for the binary install.
/tmp/installer.xdSlbwZ3ab: /lib/i386-linux-gnu/libm.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.29' not found (required by /tmp/installer.xdSlbwZ3ab)
Try checking your installed GLIBC, this is what I got:
ldd --version
ldd (Debian GLIBC 2.24-11+deb9u4) 2.24

In conclusion, this appears to be normal behaviour for older Linux versions.
I hope this helps.
