I have an old game, Los Vegas Super Casino. It's 16 bit. It will load and run partially in a windows 98 bottle in Crossover Standard (Linux, Kubuntu 11.10). But when I try and enable sound I get the error "DDE requres ddeml.dll" and it crashes. It won't run at all in Crossover games. I've seen in various posts on the net that this was/has been (still is?) a bug in Wine. Has it been fixed, or is there a way I can configure Wine in Crossover to run it?
...what I usually do with something like this, is go back
to the wine version cited where it was fixed, just to check
it was (or try and concluded whether it's the same bug or
not)....
