Ever since the disaterous installation of CX11 where I lost all my bottles I've been trying to rebuild my installation environment.
I've now become completely unstuck as I've been trying to install a program called dsnap (http://www.chem.gla.ac.uk/snap/dSNAP_beta.html). It will install and after figuring out there was a Microscoft VC6++ issue I did get the software to start. But that is as far as I have got. The other functions such as loading data do not work and I am at a loss as to what needs fixing to resolve this.
In the past I'm sure there were more error messages to help you diagnose which missing dll you needed etc. The debug option via running the install exe is not really helping and when the application does install it does not show in the installed software bottle. It shows in the menus with an uninstall icon that does not work but not in the bottles registry of installed software.
You need to have at least installed:
Microsoft Windows Script 5.7
Microsoft C++ 6.0 Redistributable
