Error during installation of MS Office 2000, Crossover 5.1, ubuntu 10.10

When I try to install MS office in Ubuntu 10.10 (Crossover 5.1), the installation wizard would never shows that installation is finished. If I terminate the installation by the option to click on "Installaion Complete" button on the wizard window, the installation wizard would hang up and returned the following message.

you are using the latest Ubuntu in 10.10
but a ancient CX in 5.1 -why ??

can you D/L a later cx version,

  • to use in conjunction with 10.10 ??.
