iTunes Install Problem

I am trying to get iTunes for Windows to run on Ubuntu. I was able to install the software, but I get an error "iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (Windows error 126)" I have reinstalled several times using different OS versions. Please advise.

Ubuntu 10.04 64 bit
CrossOver 9.0.1
iTunes 10.0.1.22

The "Please reinstall iTunes" error, - I never did around that one.

reinstalled a few times, got it partially working, but never to a point of usefulness.
