I recently started to use Ubuntu 9.10 full-time as my OS of choice, but I found a problem with using Powerpoint. Whenever I try to draw a line in Powerpoint, the slide turns black and I am not able to seen anything. Can anyone help?

I found this link under the support tickets
This is, as you saw, a known issue. The work around is if you can open up another presentation that does already contain a line (or arrow or connector, etc), select that object (line, arrow, connector), copy it, go back to your updating presentation and paste it in, you can then select the end(s) and move the line, arrow, connector to where ever you want it to be.
Not pretty, but it works fine until Codeweavers can fix this problem.
Hope that helps...
