Hi peoples, Ive been having trouble with fedora 10 64 bit for quite some time, something with the fonts is not right, applications report not being able to install fonts, and the font size is tiny. So today I decided to try and fix it. I found this closed support ticket here:
And took Jacks response about it likely being a missing i386 library that was required as a starting point...
I looked for 64bit font libs on my system (rpm -qa |grep font |grep lib) and decided "libfontenc-1.0.4-6.fc10.x86_64" sounded like a likely suspect.
So...
yum install libfontenc.i386
And now all is well :) I'd like to see this added to the closed support ticket, but I can not open or add to it, and hope it helps others. Lots of people must be hitting this in F10 64bit.
